TL;DR: Help us drive revenue growth, ideally exponentially. We’re looking for our first dedicated Growth leader to turn Tiptap’s raw momentum (30 k+ GitHub stars, 7 M monthly downloads, users like GitLab & LinkedIn) into a repeatable, scalable growth engine. Your first 12‑month North Star: generate ≥ 30 qualified SQLs per month and significantly increase our self‑serve conversion rate, all while laying the foundations for a Growth function you will later lead as Head of Growth.

Hackathons
Four times a year, we aim to host five-day hackathons, either in-person at our Berlin headquarters or at an off-site location at company expense. The purpose of the hackathon is to 1) strengthen our team culture, 2) laser-focus on releasing the most important Tiptap features on our roadmap, and 3) celebrate our achievements.
Responsibilities
As our Growth Manager, you will:
Own our full funnel, from awareness to activation, retention, and expansion, using data to prioritize the highest‑impact opportunities.
Design and run rapid‑fire experiments (paid, product, lifecycle, pricing) with a testing budget and assistance from the team.
Implement and maintain analytics to ensure decisions are insight‑driven, not opinion‑driven.
Partner with Product & Engineering to ship growth features (in‑app prompts, onboarding flows, usage‑based pricing, etc.).
Build out our demand gen playbook for both PLG self‑serve and enterprise sales‑assisted motions, feeding AEs ≥ 30 SQLs/mo.
Report on KPIs weekly, turning insights into next‑step roadmaps.
Future: hire, coach, and lead the Growth squad (ops, content, paid, lifecycle) once traction milestones are hit.
Qualifications
Minimum 6 years of experience in growth marketing, product-led growth, or similar roles within tech startups or SaaS environments.
Proven ability to drive measurable growth through strategic experiments and data-driven decision-making.
Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar.
Experience running effective growth experiments, from ideation through execution and iteration.
Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to drive alignment across multiple teams.
Founder-like Mindset: You're proactive, communicate clearly, love brainstorming new ideas, and are result-driven.
Bonus
Experience working in developer-focused companies or technical products.
Familiarity with open-source business models and community-driven growth.
Experience using Tiptap or similar developer tools.

Month 1: Actively contribute to ongoing growth initiatives, giving you a sense of ownership right from the start.
