Senior Product Marketing Manager at Artie | Y Combinator
We’re looking for our first marketing hire to stand up our product marketing function and own the messaging and storytelling around our product’s value. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact in a growing company and build out our marketing function over time.
About Artie

Our platform automates the end-to-end process and reduces engineering overhead of managing pipelines. We help businesses power use cases like risk and transaction monitoring, live inventory visibility, customer facing analytical dashboards, and many more.
We’re working with amazing customers like Substack, Alloy, Papaya Pay, and Indigov and are processing 100B+ rows of data monthly.
We’re backed by top investors including Y Combinator, General Catalyst, Pathlight, and angel investors including the founders of Dropbox and Mode.

You’ll craft compelling content, speak with customers, and build the foundation of a strong marketing organization to help us scale. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves talking to customers, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves to get things done or pivot strategies quickly.
Some responsibilities you’ll take on:

Talk to customers: develop a deep understanding on our customers/buyers and the challenge Artie solves, run QBRs, and be the bridge internally between sales, engineering, and product
Messaging and positioning: own and ensure consistent messaging across feature & product launches, customer case studies, sales decks, talk tracks, etc.
Sales enablement: align messaging around sales deck, sales collateral, and competitive differentiation
Examples of first 30 day deliverables: messaging framework, customer case studies, competitive battlecards

Very strong writer and storyteller - able to simplify complex technical concepts concisely
Extremely curious and reporter-like when researching our customers and buyers
Collaborative and have worked with other marketing functions in previous roles - including marketing ops, enablement, and demand gen
You’re scrappy - as the first marketing hire, your core role is product marketing but you’re excited to dip your toes into other aspects of marketing
What you’ll get
Fast moving environment and accelerated learning
Ownership from day 1 to drive projects end-to-end
Opportunity to hire and build out our marketing function over time
Competitive compensation and equity
Requirements
4+ years experience in product marketing roles in early stage startups (late Series A to Series B/C) that sell technical products
Have experience collaborating with other marketing functions, including growth/demand gen, marketing ops/revops, and content
In-person 5 days a week in downtown SF
