Founders Associate at Noloco | Y Combinator
From internal tools to company-wide workflows, Noloco turns your data into a custom, AI-powered app your team will love to use. We empower businesses to create custom apps from their data, such as internal tools, client portals, and CRMs. Changing the way small and medium-sized businesses grow and work together.
Backed by Y Combinator, Frontline and other top-class investors, Noloco is a fast-moving, remote-first company with a team spread across Ireland, Spain, and North America.
Our Mission
Our mission is to empower businesses to build truly custom software, without writing code. As our Founders Associate, you'll work directly with our CEO to help drive this mission forward, by reducing operational friction, unlocking strategic insights, and taking on one-off projects that move the company forward. This is a high-agency role for someone eager to see how startups are built from the inside out.
About Us
We pride ourselves on a culture of autonomy, speed, and care. At Noloco, you’ll be joining a team that trusts each other to take ownership and execute. You'll work closely with the founder and collaborate across product, growth, support, and engineering to help the entire company run better.
This is a unique opportunity to learn every corner of a fast-growing SaaS business, and shape the future of how software is made.
Your Mission
Your job is to make the CEO more effective, by owning projects, solving problems, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. You’ll work on everything from internal ops to strategic research to special projects that don’t fit neatly into any one team. Over time, you’ll develop a deep understanding of how Noloco works and take on more responsibility across the company.
Success in this role means reducing the founder’s workload, identifying blind spots, and building leverage for the team.
What You’ll Be Doing
Own internal operations: run monthly finances, ensure payroll and bills are processed on time
Prepare materials for monthly company-wide meetings
Coordinate offsites and team events across Europe
Draft job descriptions, screen applications, and onboard new hires
Write internal updates and investor reports
Gather data and feedback from different teams (growth, support, engineering) to inform strategy
Explore new product opportunities and support special projects across the business
What You’ll Actually Be Doing
Shadowing & scaling: You’ll learn how the CEO thinks, operates, and makes decisions, then find ways to take those responsibilities off their plate.
Running internal ops: You’ll take ownership of some monthly finances, payroll coordination, paying invoices, and keeping our internal admin organized.
Preparing company meetings: You’ll collect updates from different departments, help structure all-hands slides, and ensure we’re aligned each month.
Writing and communication: You’ll draft investor updates, internal memos, job descriptions, and summaries of key initiatives.
Hiring coordination: You’ll screen candidate applications, schedule interviews, and support onboarding for new team members.
Team logistics: You’ll plan team meetups, offsites, and ensure smooth coordination across time zones and locations.
Project ownership: You’ll take on cross-functional projects, whether that’s researching a new product idea, testing a growth experiment, or fixing an internal bottleneck.
Reporting & insight gathering: You’ll pull together updates from Growth, Support, Engineering and surface the insights that matter.

Where You’ll Work
